Earlier today, Monday, July 10, 2017, when a suspected armed robber was apprehended by residents along Eyita Palace, Ikorodu.
According to an eyewitness, who shared the information, the suspect was caught with weapons and stolen properties.
“A suspected armed robber was caught at Eyita Palace in Ikorodu Lagos state. The suspect was caught with some weapons and stolen properties by ‘Eyita Boyz’”, the eyewitness shared.
Meanwhile, the user stated that the suspect was already beaten to pulp by an angry mob before he was handed over to security operatives.
“He was later handed over to the Police for further investigation but before then, the mob had given him a thorough beating and also stripped him unclad leaving him in the pool of his blood.”
The arrest of the suspect is coming on the heels of various arrests of the members belonging to the dreaded cultists group, Badoo, by Ikorodu residents.
While some of the residents still resort to jungle justice owing to the terror from the cult gang, the Lagos State Government has advised that residents desist from jungle justice and rather hand over arrested suspects to the Police for investigations.
